a big congratulations J and P
ByI remember it wasn’t that long ago that we welcomed a new member into our family. We were at one of my cousin’s weddings and it rained and poured that day…I was high as a kite from my the percocet since I had my knee reconstructed not long before so my memory might be a bit hazy. I was not yet 21 at the time so I was tricking my dad into getting me drinks from the bar when all along I had a couple other cousins who were 21 also getting me drinks but hey I wasn’t driving. Well anyways the wedding itself was absoulutely beautiful (well except the part where the cieling caved in from all the rain) with a best man’s speech that still cracks me up to this day. They say that rain on a wedding day (not ironic Alanis Morrisette or however you spell it would have you think) is supposed to be good luck.
Despite my dad having a degree in nuclear physics which gives me a bit of a scientist mindset I do believe in luck and I believe that a great amount has landed upon them (knock on wood). I was saying it to my girl about 2 or 3 weeks ago that they are one of only a small handful of couples that truly has it figured out. I have a hard time picturing them fighting and from the dozens of family parties and backyard/pool barbecues well it doesn’t take a psychic to see that they are very much in love. Now I just heard a couple days ago that they are expecting a baby and even though we all have yet to meet them they have already put a smile on my face
. I won’t say their names since I don’t know if they would like that so I’ll nickname them J and P.
Congratulations J and P and one more!!!
