biggest loser opinions
Bywell I saw it yet again…and I can’t stand it. More misinformation that is potentially dangerous to a population that is already in danger as it is. Yup you got it the biggest loser.
Here is what I see as a pro in the industry. I see severely obese people who have both physical and mental problems (do you think they are that way because they want to?) being abused both physically and mentally. This most recent episode showed contestants crying while Jillian ridiculed her…Bob did a similar thing to his people…like they always seem to do (I am not known for my sympathy and I find this shit deplorable). I see atrocious program design. Severely unhealthy people doing plyometrics and being kept in a constant state of catabolism and on a starvation diet that would make an underwear model eat their own hand…and destroys their metabolisms and puts them on a path to failure.
all for the sake of ratings.
Here is what regular people see. People given hope because these heavy people are achieving their goals or some bs like that. People losing tons of weight and it gives them hope that they can do it too. Or they just like seeing a train wreck.
Oh yeah just one more thing I wanted to point out. That weight they are all losing…thats not all bodyfat. As a matter of fact it was recently reported on Dos’ blog that one of the contestants would spend 6 hours at a time in a sauna, wearing a rubber suit and dehydrating himself to the point of pissing blood. One contestant didn’t eat any solid food for 3 days prior to weighing in. Does that sound f’ing healthy to you? And these trainers are letting it happen. You see when its a team effort like that there is a lot of pressure to succeed for fear of letting your team mates down….and they will try to succeed at any expense. A couple contestants have been hospitalized. How long till one is dead?
From now on I am going to start recording that show…and picking it apart piece by piece.
Having said as atrocious their exercise and nutrition program’s are they do have good recipes.

I agree, they should come up with more realistic and supportive options for the fat azzes…
Things like:
raising one eyebrow
licking their elbow
gleeking
twitching their noses (think Samantha from Bewitched)
touching their nose or chin with their tongue
sneezing with their eyes open
tickling themselves
drawing a number six while moving their leg in clockwise circles
