Blog Disclaimer
Alright
When I started this blog it was meant as an easy way to get great info out there, for you to understand what I am about better and get a feel for my personality and for me to be able to get my rants off my chest and my creative juices flowing. I enjoyed the fact that it was as easy as login and talk about the liars and cheats in the fitness industry (and as you know there are A LOT of them) and also talk about some of the better things to get you towards your goals. In that time I have always tried to remain as honest as possible and only recommend things that I believe are good and attack things that were in my eyes bad. From my perspective I have a better lens to filter out crap and sort through different things to figure out what is good. I have a knack for it that was developed over years of learning both from the findings of others and from my own failures and successes. I am about as honest of a blogger as it gets. That is rare in the fitness industry hence my title “Fired Up Physical Culture…Giving Fitness a Much Needed Kick in the Ass”
You may or may not know this but there is a new set of laws specifically targeted to bloggers (like myself) starting December 1st 2009 that basically says we have to let it be known if we were bribed to blog about things or if we are going to make a couple bucks doing so. You can read the full document here. This is actually a good thing because it forces us to be honest. Go to this link and you will see why this sort of thing is necessary. So in light of this let me just say this ahead of time so I don’t get in trouble. I do make a little bit of money from some of the things I promote on here. I don’t make much and I believe I deserve it in much the same way a real estate agent earns their commission by finding you a good house to live in. I don’t make money on everything but to error on the safe side just go ahead and assume there are a couple bucks in it for me. I am writing this because I tend to be forgetful and may forget to put it in the bottom of some of my posts and its a pain in the ass to do so anyways. I make a small commission on the sale of kettlebells. It is what I use to train with and I don’t think it is unfounded that you have to buy them to follow along with my free programs. I may make a commission on books or videos I recommend. Again that boils down to the whole real estate agent thing. I earned it because my lens told me it is not bullshit.
Here is what I promise you. I will not sell out. I won’t recommend something that sucks and tell you its the greatest thing since sliced bread if I don’t truly believe it is. “Never surrender…not even in the face of annihilation”
Oh yeah follow my advice at your own risk.
Eric Moss over and out
