Count your blessings

By

You know what pisses me off? (if you have been on my blog before you would know a lot of things that piss me off) Its people who have nothing to complain about and yet complain anyways. I hear it all the time…I am unlucky…blah blah blah. Why because you don’t have access to a gym? Boo F’ing hoo! Quit crying like Nancy Kerrigan and figure out that whatever “misfortune” you have is nothing in the scheme of things. Any superficial misfortune I simply don’t want to hear about it.

You know why? Because I don’t give a rat’s ace that you don’t have visible abs or whatever goal you have…especially if you haven’t worked for it.

You know who is getting the raw deal? Wrongly convicted people, children in 3rd world countries, cancer patients, people missing limbs, blind, deaf, child abuse victims, chronically ill, people in countries constantly at war…those kinds of people. And I never hear them crying the blues.

A client of mine who I will not name for her privacy was just diagnosed with cancer last week. On the phone she was simply looking for ways to beat it and was asking about holistic supplements that I enjoy and that sort of thing. Cancer is a motherf#&ker.

Was she bitching and complaining? No. So if she isn’t what reason do you have?

Rant over.

p.s. We would appreciate prayers and such.

p.p.s. A cancer survivor named Alwyn Cosgrove had gotten a bunch of the top experts in the fitness world to come together and write a bunch of articles that they are selling for charity. All proceeds go to cancer research. If you are interested in helping go to LiftStrong.com
