Doing what you have to do

By

You know one of the things about living as a fitness pro is that I meet a lot of different people. I am sorry to say that I am not always able to inspire them even though I try as best I could. Now one of the things I will never get is some people want it just for the sake of wanting it and they succeed as long as they put the work in and stay dedicated but what about the people that NEED it. I am not talking about the ones that want to look good in a bikini but rather the ones that are in serious need of losing weight. A lot of times these are the ones that end up failing. Now there are certain things in life that you HAVE to do. You have to make an income and pay your taxes so everybody works (except for the unemployed or the savy business owner). So why is it that people will go to work and yet completely neglect their health and well being??? You could take the richest business man and when they are in the hospitol they typically wish for their health back. It is just a matter of a couple simple steps to dramatically improve your health. Eat non processed foods, take your vitamins, exercise (effectively) regularly. It has more benefits then I can even put into words. And I am tired of the excuse “I am old.” One of my over 50 year old clients reported back to me a week or 2 ago saying he had a stress test done and the doctor’s were floored by his level of health and fitness. Where usually all it takes a little above a walking pace for about 5 minutes and people’s breathing becomes elevated they had to have him on there for about 20 minutes and had to use the highest speed level. Why is he healthy? Because he put in the dedication he deemed necessary to get the job done and the job is well done. Now why is it that he is able to do that while people that are 100+lbs overweight won’t?
