Eric Moss' 10 Commandments for health, strength and fitness

By admin

1) Thou shalt not make excuses. Excuses don’t get results. Every time someone emails me with excuses it makes me want to email a roundhouse kick to the face. Luckily for them only Chuck Norris can do that.

2) Thou shalt not train for looks alone. If you train for performance and eat right the looks will come with it free of charge.

3) Thou shalt train movements. Thats what our bodies were designed to do is move. Thats what they will react to best and thats what will improve you the most.

4) Thou shalt not ask “What muscle does this work?”. Movements train many muscles and you are thinking along the wrong lines. See commandment number 3.

5) Thou shalt not seek shortcuts. Physical excellence is a lifetime pursuit and if you acquire it you have to maintain it or you will lose it.

6) Thou shalt balance life, workouts, and nutrition. There is more to life then this even though it is very important.

7) Thou shalt do things you do not like. If you don’t like it there is a good chance that it is because it is difficult and thus will strengthen your weakest links. The exception to it is if you don’t like it because it is weak (like the fire hydrant).

8 ) Thou shalt keep their mind on the task at hand. PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU ARE DOING! This will prevent injury.

9) Thou shalt eat correctly. Nutrition is important since you are what you eat. Ripped abs are made in the kitchen…Not the training room.

10) Thou shalt use their new body responsibly. It just isn’t fair to the “others”.
