Feels good
ByAlright I didn’t really want to post this because it is almost going to sound like I am patting myself on the back and that isn’t my intention. Over the weekend I was at a Ryan Lee seminar about internet marketing. Ryan Lee was a fitness professional who also was great at business and has since taught many many other fitness professionals how to make products so that we don’t all starve to death. Being a personal trainer isn’t an easy living. Its very up and down and the hours are murderous. I’ll give an example. Right now it is 2am in the morning. I will have to get up in about 3 and a half hours to go off to my first client of the day. I have 3 sessions tomorrow morning all of them a half hour apart and then I will take a nap. Normally the next sessions would happen at around 5 in the evening. Crazy schedule right?
Anyways the fact that there are so many great products out there on that are available to you he is pretty much directly responsible for. Mike Geary who wrote The Truth About Six Pack Abs was a student of his. Craig Ballantyne who wrote Turbulence Training is a student of his. The Underground Strength Coach is a student of his. John Ducane who is the CEO of dragondoor and the driving force behind Pavel and the RKC’s is a student of his. Alwyn Cosgrove the list can go on. Arnel Ricafranca the six pack abs expert is a student of his. Vince Delmonte the skinny guy savior etc. etc.
the people who create those worthless ab machines and hip hop abs are not.
So you see he is almost directly responsible for the GREAT stuff you see in a sea of crap. For that we fitness professionals who would be starving have him to thank. And we aren’t the only ones.
At the seminar one of the presenters had talked about some of the things that are going on in Africa and asked us to donate some money. Ryan Lee offered one of his high end products to anybody who donates $500 or more. Now I am a sucker for things like that. Getting a great product and having the money go to a great cause? I just had to make myself $500 lighter.
Within an hour they raised around $27,000. That’s enough to build a well, a school and the teachers to go in it. Luckily for me my fiance is a bleeding heart like I am because I am getting married and money is tight. I gotta say though it is a good feeling knowing that I helped build a school that will hopefully be finished by September of this year for kids that are starving. Now they can better themselves.
God bless Ryan Lee for making it all possible. I am not a richer man yet (though hopefully I will be) but I am a better man because of it.
Thank you Ryan Lee.
