from the Russian Kettlebell Challenge (RKC)

By

I gotta say I am still somewhat floating on a high from becoming an RKC. I remember going to a graduation party for a friend of my fiance’s from high school where she had just graduated medical school. I said “Hello Doctor congratulations. So how does it feel putting the letters d and r in front of your name?” Her response “F__king awesome!”

Now I know I didn’t just finish however many years of medical school but I gotta say it kind of feels like that. This wasn’t just some certification that you get by answering a couple multiple choice questions. You earn it with a little blood and a whole lot of sweat. I can still remember the rampant waves of b o coming from the car ride from my fellow RKC Mike Prosser (thanks for the ride) from my fellow would be and now RKCs and I look back at it fondly. I also remember saying a small prayer to myself during the grad workout whilst my partner in pain Bernardo cheered me on and I did my best to return the favor. Brothers and sisters we will meet again!
