no excuses
ByThe other day I recieved an email from one of my followers in my newsletter from a comrade named David straight from Moscow, Russia. Aside from a couple spelling or grammatical errors (give him a break…his English is a whole lot better then my Russian) I am leaving it pretty much untouched.
Hello Eric!!!
First of all Merry Christmas and approaching New Year!!!
I wish you and all your closed Siberian health and Caucasian longevity, happiness and luck in the future year.
Of course I dont mind if you will wright about using tank tracks, but also coud be used tractor traks( more easily available i think),car suspension springs,or used old electric engines( different sizes – different weights). (he used tank tracks instead of weights to lift since that is what he had available to him)
I really dont make exuses and I am not looking for reasons to escape from training – notwithstanding what weather it is or outer temperature.I like to train outside, even it is cold and difficult to breath.
Some years ago I was operated on my lower back- I had 3 herniated disks, and doctors said that it is not allowed to me to carry more than 5 kg.After operation I still suffered every year 2-3 times from low-back pain assaults.I decided not to listen to them and started training from light weights and now I said “fairwell” to my back pains. Although I can not compete with real strongmen I feel myself exellent.I also practice a contrast shower – wich is a very effective way to keep toned, tempered, and free of toxins. If you wish I can write an article on this topic to your blog. For those who decide to start this procedures for their health. Also some other articles about other healthy life methods, that I use in my everyday life. Maybe you will discover something new.
Regards,David
Now even though I don’t endorse going against a Doctor’s orders I want you to take a look at this kind of dedication. He didn’t have access to a gym so he lifted tank tracks (thats hardcore as hell by the way) He fixed his back through exercise. What didn’t he do? He didn’t whine about not having time or whatever sissy excuse I have heard for the nth time over the years. He didn’t try to find a way to quit. Instead he found a way to succeed. He made it work.
Thanks David
