Shake Weight
ByYou know it’s not everyday an exercise device comes along thats so amazing that just looking at it brings a big old smile to the Mossman’s face. This “Shake Weight” is one of those devices.
My only comment is this “ROFLMAO”

Actually it’s not just “utter crap” if you actually used the product and seen it for yourself how it actually works then you would understand the dynamic breakthrough we’ve made by getting rid of under arm flab in just minutes

As one who has seen the tremendous under arm flab toning effects of heavy pressing, I would rather use that method as it has the added benefits of dramatically increasing bone-density, strengthening/toning the abs, improving tendon strength and a tremendous carryover to real-life activities. There is much much more to fitness than just looking good, so why not exercise in a way that covers ALL the bases?
I would like to ask the creators of this device for a link to the study mentioned in the infomercial, to clarify the claims made.

IT’S A SCAM! I ordered a shake weight as a joke for my boyfriend. They never gave me a set total, and they said it will come in in about 2 to 6 weeks. 4 days later I received a phone call about the shake weight saying I can get money off if I do this advertisement thing. So, stupid me, I did it. They said they would send me stuff in the mail (2 to 5 days) that will let me cancel it at any time. It’s 1 dollar the first 30 days, 25 dollars for all additional months. THEY NEVER SENT ME ANYTHING IN THE MAIL! So I can not even cancel the damn thing. It’s ridiculous. They got all of my money. OH! & yesterday, I received an email, MY SHAKE WEIGHT IS ON BACK ORDER! Shocking, right?

that stinks. that absolutely sucks. I could have told you it was a scam in terms of results but I wouldn’t have thought that they would stiff you when you were buying it as a joke. That really is a damn shame. (and people wonder why im so pissed all the time). If you want to share your thoughts there is a website called infomercialscams.com where people post this sort of thing.
Back order…probably a lot of people getting it as a gag gift just like you were.

I too think this would be a great product. I actually tried to order one myself. This is my response to Shake Weight.
First of all I would like to inform you that you have the worst ordering system I have ever had the misfortune to become sucked into. But then you already know this. You burnt me once, but that will never happen again.
I went to your web site to place an order for one $19.99 Shake Weight for my wife. Before I could get away I had been stuck for $74.70 with no way to cancel or change my order. I started the minute I knew your web site had screwed me to call and cancel my order. Guess what? I was not in the system yet. That was on Saturday 12/23/09. OK, I will call starting Monday morning. Well Monday noon after 4 calls, I am still not in the system. At 3pm Monday after 2 more calls, I am finally in the system. But wait, the order has already been sent to shipping and cannot be changed or canceled. What a Lie. This was on 12/25/09. Ok, as soon as this shows up on my credit card I will dispute this charge. On 12/28/09 this charge shows up in pending. Wow, your shipping department sure is slow in comparison to your ordering department. What a shocker, On 12/31/09 the charge is still in pending. On 1/1/10 I get an email from Shake Weight that my order has been shipped, I even got a Fedex tracking number that would not work. But I still cannot dispute this charge because guess what? That’s right; the charge is still pending on my credit card. What a scam you guys have going on.
It is a shame you guys have to be this deceiving, you may have a great product. The rest of the world may never know if you do. I plan do my best to let them know what is really going on here.

I do not think this is a great product. If you hadn’t noticed I was making fun of it because of its resemblance to…well…porn. It is yet another snake oil salesmen using faulty science to sell the dream and just taking your money in the process. They happened to take even more from you.
It sucks that you got burned. I recommend you go over to infomercialscams.com and post your story there so you can prevent it from happening to other people.
Incidently if you want to get a good piece of equipment for your wife the kettlebell will deliver the goods if you use it correctly.

I ordered mine with the only hitch being I do not get mail at my address but a PO BOX. They said it came by Fedx, it does but to the post office then it comes to you from the USPS. Not to me it doesn’t. When I hadn’t gotten it and I had placed my order back on 12/23/09, had gotten an email that it was on back order, then got another email the next day saying it had shipped and today being 01/13/10 I called shake weight. I got right through, no long wait, they were helpful, tracked the shipment and told me which post office it had gone to and if it had been returned it had to be 15 days before they could send out another one, which was next week on Thursday and they would reship it at no cost to me straight to my home using Fedx. Very friendly good customer service!
I called the post office and it was sitting there waiting to be returned.
I used it for the first time this afternoon. You can laugh all you want about this product but it was a tough workout even though it was only 6 min. My arms are still tight feeling as well as my chest, lats and back muscles. I have no doubt if I use it as the video shows, which by the way is very well done and easy to follow, my arms will no longer continue to wave good bye long after I stop.
This is I feel a great product for women who haven’t seen a gym in a few years or never have. It is a great way to fix your arm problems in the privacy of your own home in your own time!

I love this product! I have never order from an infomercial before, was very weary about whether this would be a piece of crap or not, but it was only 20 bucks so i thought i would try it and I LOVE IT… got it a little over a week ago and I already notice a difference!

Well now, it seems to me that the only two who actually like this are actually people advertising for the company. As one who has done research for fitness I can easily say that it is impossible to burn fat via working one area to tone it. If you’re overweight, there’s no cardio to this. Cardio exercises are what make one lose weight. It’s impossible to target one area and lose fat there. You just end up working muscles that will never be visible because–you’re still overweight!
Like Steve said, fitness isn’t about just looking good; it’s good for your heart, immune system, etc. But of course, if you’re lazy, then you’d try to get a product like this.
Sorry, but it’s true. I’ve only seen lazy people fall for these.

I bought one at the store because I don’t trust ordering off the television. I’ve only used it for a bit, but it definitely works your arms out. I’m not sure about the science of exercise, so it may not be great, but when there are people out there who don’t have time to spend the hour a day in the gym it would require to get the same results these sorts of things are good.
There are also people that are just plain uncomfortable in gyms, which is made evident by the fact that people buy so much home exercise equipment.

i bought it at wallmart n im seeing results, the ppl talking about the website or that is a scam just because they didnt recive it,, come on!! u have to talk about the product not the ppl selling it. of course ure mad, but dont talk about the product if u dont know.

I recently ordered Shake Weight online and now I am seriously regreating it. After I gave my card mumber the website site down, I wasn’t even sure that the order went through. I now have different companies taking money out of my bank account. I called the companies and they said they got my card number from Shake Weight, so I called Shake Weight customer service and they were rude to me when I asked about it. They said they didn’t give my card number to anyone that its against the law to do that. Well I know that I NEVER gave my card number to anyone else but Shake Weight. This is the first time I have ever ordered something offline. I asked for Shake Weight corp number and they fefused to give it to me.

Here’s and interesting way of selling more product. Order (1) Shake Weiht on line and after you decline the 10 different offers the website shows you and you finally get to the confirmation order page, you have miraculously ordered (2) Shake Weights. After seeing the error and emailing and calling the customer service(not) department,
they tell you the order is not uploaded into the system.
Then overnight, it is uploaded and is shipping and you can not change the order, even though you didn’t make the mistake. Their Customer Service sucks and they are rude.

Shake Weight…Quite possiblt the greatest “gag” gift ever…left me with blue balls.
It started off innocently enough, as most hand jobs do, I’ll order a shakeweight for my old college buddy who’s getting married and send it directly to his fiancee’s house. Easy enough. But wait there’s more! Shakeweight.com thought I might like to add another shakeweight as a gift…they read my mind, this would also be perfect for my brothers house-warming gift!
Quantity: 2 Shakeweights
Ok, next we go through a dozen additional offers and then we’ll get to the confirmation page to review the order…wait what’s this, the order’s been placed and not one but two Shakeweights are being shipped directly to my college buddy!
Similar story to the other posts here…you call, orders not in system, call back orders not in system, call again BAM the orders been shipped and there is nothing that can be done. The balls on these people to think were complete idiots to believe orders are being shot up a vacuum tube and they have no idea what’s there until it’s ejaculated on their desk.
Best part of this story is when I get Humberto, the Shakeweight Manager on the horn, blah blah blah, there’s nothing we can do, blah blah blah.
Me: “Humberto, you know your products a joke, why on earth would I send two Shakeweights to the same person?”
Humberto: (Didn’t miss a beat) “Some people use one for each hand!”
Humberto’s obviously been through this before and I would love to meet the ladies Humberto’s hanging out with…I’m sure their great multi-taskers.

To all of you who say that this product is for lazy people, you do not personally know anyone on this site that is happy with this product. This can be used for people who don’t enjoy working out very much or it can be a nice addition to an active person’s routine. If you are dumb enough to get ‘burned’ but a shipping department perhaps you should stick to store buying because clearly you are not listening to the person on the other end of the phone. For those of you who are talking about the ‘science’ of it, some people do work out just to look good and don’t care about being healthy, who are you to judge them? If you are not happy I think you should give constructive comments instead of ranting like children. If you are happy good for you and I hope you enjoy your purchase and your new arms!

whoever you are anonymous person you find me one person who actually tones up their arms with this ridiculous device and i’ll take it back. and yes they have to be a real person.
the fact of the matter is the shake weight is a joke and it is one that isn’t funny because they are not only scamming people by over promising and under delivering they are charging them twice and all sorts of things reminiscent of a scammer. it is praying on the ill informed which is just about everybody.
so you stick to your double hand job exercises and report back when you have results…which you won’t

I came here to see what other consumers had to say about Shake-Weight.
What I learned was:
1. Bad things happen with this website when using a credit card;
2. Do not buy the product off of the website;
3. This item can be purchased at Wal-Mart and keep the receipt; and
4. If you don’t like it, go to Customer Service at Wal-Mart for a refund

my friend got one for her birthday and i decided to try this thing out to see if i wanted one. this was March 6th 2010. Well, i dont know what happened but i heard something pop, and here comes the intense pain in my shoulder. i have gone to the doctor, i’ve gone to physical therapy, ive gotten x rays, MRI and now my dr gave me a referral for my ortho. I am looking into getting lawyer so the company pays for all these expenses.

I bought it at Walmart. Figured it was a cheap price and if it doesn’t work it would be a Christmas present for someone. lol Just did my first workout today. The Free DVD gives you 8 sets to do with short 15 second breaks. Time will tell if I see results. I did feel good after working out. I think with proper nutrition combined with other cardio and weight training I should see progress. My theory is some exercise is better then none.

Y’all be careful with those shake weights!
A) I’d probably pop myself in the head with it.
B) I have arthritis and it makes my joints hurt just watching the video! I would honestly suggest thinking twice before you use it if you have arthritis or tendonitis!!!
