kettlebells and pullups are the main stay of what i do for myself.  i don&#039;t have a barbell.  If i did i would use it mainly for deadlifts.  when i run my kettlebell bootcamp classes i can&#039;t very well go putting 6 olympic bars + plates in my car.  a couple kettlebells though and i am good to go</description>

it always amazes me how confused people are about kettlebells. The general fitness community continues to not have a clear understanding about the proper use of the Kettlebell.

As far as kettlebells being all that you really need, I don&#039;t think there is a more efficient tool for someone looking for general physical preparedness. that said, there are reasons to do pull ups, janda situps,and deadlifts.
