My abs are tempted to file assault charges against you for those dragon flags. I spent 8 years of my life training Jeet Kune Do / Jun Fan in Austin and had never heard of dragon flags. Had no idea what I was missing out on. They’re terribly wicked, dangerous, and cruel. Might even need to be outlawed. So of course, they will become a major part of my arsenal. Gotta put that body under stress in order to see any kind of change.

I would have to agree that TGU’s are a far superior than the bench press in terms of overall strength especially when it comes to functional training. The muscle recruitment it takes to get up of the ground is unsurpassed. I tried to get my partner on the paramedic squad to do a few of them w/ me. He stated, “They look easy, but I’m too tired to workout right now.” Oh well. I’ll sleep when I’m dead.

Thanks for the props in your newsletter. Good luck at the RKC. Keep us posted.

p.s. I’m looking at trying for the AKC next year. Any thoughts on that?
