training blog 11/5/08
ByBent press practice. I didn’t keep track of reps since it is merely practice as opposed to an actual training session. I think I might have it down and I feel pretty good after it.
One of the people I train caught me eating a butterfinger which I wasn’t exactly trying to hide. She was pretty surprised but I explained to her that the purpose of my goal right now isn’t to try and get ripped abs since I can always get those later. When it comes time to get ripped abs I will go back on my nutrition program since ripped abs are made in the kitchen…not the training area. I am only about 5 lbs heavier then I was during my ripped abs pics so it wouldn’t take me long to get ripped abs if getting ripped abs was in fact my current goal. Hmm did I just mention the term “ripped abs” 6 times in the same paragraph? Oops make that number 7. Oh well tomorow I plan on doing snatches and I will be meeting up with Zach EvenEsh who’t pullup contest I hope to win.

ripped abs. there now its an even number. i’ve been practicing the bent and side press as well. i am basically going off info from books and youtube. only issue i have so far, is the flaring of the lat on the bent press. just doesn’t feel right. figure if we practice is enough times we’ll get it i guess. i posted a vid on youtube to see if anyone would comment on my form. Nobody has said anything yet. Anyway, good luck w/ it.
