Bydid the 5 minute snatch test
86 snatches with a 24kg kettlebell (less then last week but that is ok)
I employed that “sock” technique to protect my hands that I learned about in that paperwork that dragondoor sent me. It helped especially since my hands aren’t fully healed from last week.

So I bookmarked your blog a couple months ago and was reading through today. I really enjoy it. I started kettlebell training about 19 weeks ago with walking and now some light jogging. I’m 6’2 and was 330lbs when I started. I’ve lost 50+lbs in 19 weeks! You rant a couple posts ago about people complaining about not having enough time and money, well, I was one of them. WOW! I a lot of my health, happiness, self confidence and potential for the first 25 years of my life. Not that my life was a waste, it wasn’t. But now, I’m unleashing so much more energy on the world around me. I’m more engaged at church, work and my family. I’m evening preparing now to go back to school to finish my masters. I just want you to know that I was never into your training programs or anything. I’ve seen like two of your vids and thats it on youtube, but you’re a good role and inspiration. Keep up the good work, fight the good fight.

No, I got a program from David Whitley. He is one of the senior RKC instructors.

Dave Whitley is the one that actually inspired me to go ahead and become an RKC back in September. He basically asked me when I am going to join them right after handing me some skillets that he rolled up. I’ll put a picture of them up soon.
I was bummed when he said he wasn’t going to be at the February cert. Oh well I am sure I’ll bump into him again.
How does the program he wrote differ from the one I have been doing?
