Ultimate fighter thoughts and opinions

By

I am gonna warn you this blog contains spoilers about the shows last night called the Ultimate Fighter. If you watch the show, haven’t seen these episodes and don’t want it ruined then read no further.

Even after Junie’s victory over Rolando it was made evident by the way he fought that he is not nearly all he is cracked up to be. Some of the previous fighters even though I didn’t like them I could see why they were feared. Melvin Guillard is extremely explosive. The main reason I can’t stand him is he is so full of himself. Ed Herman is another one that is full of himself. I don’t really understand why he is so feared but I am going to go out on a limb and say that he is probably very technically sound even though he got his ass beat on his debut. Whoever that guy was is no stepping stone. Anyways Junie Browning for some reason couldn’t stand Efrain (hope I spelled that right) and seemed to want to fight him so bad that he jumped the fence after the fight. When it came time to fight Efrain, Junie was basically chickening out. Sorry Junie no excuses are allowed. I don’t believe that your timing was off and I don’t buy for one second that you even believed in your heart that you would have won the whole thing. Efrain beat you at your own game and made you tap. Take it like a man. I don’t know why Junie was first picked and I don’t know why everyone said he was so talented even after witnessing him in action. If I was any of the light weights and it was my turn to pick who I wanted to fight he would have been my first choice. It seems like he would be easy pickings. Even if Junie had been able to pull one out on Efrain there is no way he would be able to survive the fury of Phillippe Nover.

Speaking of Phillippe Nover…this dude is the one to be feared. He is an absolute wrecking machine. A lesson can be learned from him too. Phillipe is confident in his abilities (how can he not be?), and at the same time is quiet, unassuming and not cocky about it. He lets his skills speak for themselves. He also has a sense of humor about it by proclaiming himself to be the toughest unregistered male nurse on the planet :) . I was very excited to see that he is not just a 1 fight fluke. He was equally impressive in both fights (hats off to Roop too for being able to hang in there…I was almost tapping watching that shoulder lock). The UFC is going to be Phillippe’s oyster….just stay the f away from his sushi :D
