Veteran's day
ByWell today is Veteran’s day. I shall continue my tradition of watching Rambo first blood part 2 on this day. I know that it seems like it doesn’t really fit in but it really does. One of the things I always loved about the Rambo series is that it isn’t just mindless action. There is always a deeper meaning. In the first one it was basically a statement about how our veterans were treated after and during the Vietnam war. The second was about appreciating our veteran’s for their sacrifices. The 3rd and 4th were about bringing attention to the evil that other countries were involved in that weren’t well known to most people (as intriguing as I find Russian culture ie. training practices and martial arts they don’t have the most endearing history and Burma is just a mess). Ok I am straying from my point a little bit so I will just say this…Love your veterans because many of them have made sacrifices that nobody should have to make and they did it all for what we all hold dear.
