what drives you?
ByYou know as similar as everybody’s goals are they are all in the end different. I mean most people want to get ripped abs and seek my help…but why is it that ripped abs are so important to them? Do you think it is going to get the girl? Is it going to make your ex boyfriend jealous? You want to be envied? You want them to protect your back on heavy lifts?
Well I have to say I do like having lean, powerful abs. I already got the girl (engaged woot!) I haven’t had in ex in x amount of years so I could care less if she is jealous, people may or may not envy me…its not important to me, yes it protects my back on heavy lifts.
For me personally I consider myself a physical culturist. I want to be as strong as I possibly can be, as well conditioned as I can be and I enjoy the look of it too. But it isn’t what I want that peaks my curiousity. What do you want? Why do you want it?
Have you ever asked yourself that question? Leave a comment because I am curious

hi, this is my first comment here, I’ve been following you for a while…
i like to be fit and to improve year after year.
i’m 25 and I’m way much stronger than 5 years ago and when I’ll be, let say, 40, I’d like to be stronger than I was in my 20s.
constant improvement and daily commitment. because being in a good shape is not a matter of age.
i don’t have a six pack yet and I don’t know if I’ll ever have that kind of abs but I don’t care: feeling stronger and more fit than ever counts more.

thats actually what i like to hear. I get the abs thing all of the time but I try to get people to improve themselves with an emphaisis on strength, conditioniing and health. If you have a proper nutrition program the abs will come all on their own.
Power to you David!

hi, i’m fairly new to the world of fitness. as a ‘hardgainer’ there was never any need to lose weight (what may drive most of the people i know). but i’m about to get really into it, because i want to know what it feels like to be strong and to prove myself that i can achieve what i set out to do.
so i’m working body and soul in one sweep…

Hey Steve
A friend of mine Vince Delmonte specializes in helping hard gainers get big and strong. There is a link to his ebook at the top of my blog in the right hand corner called No Nonsense Muscle Building. It’s worked well for a lot of people so you should check it out. Here is the link
